The Challenge

The homeowners enjoy entertaining and felt that their existing kitchen was not the right fit as it was outdated, small, and did not accommodate many people.

The Solution

To make the space bigger, the kitchen was expanded into the dining room. The island was enlarged to make room for more seating and to allow for more prep surfaces.

The homeowners wanted a bar separate from the working area but still within the kitchen. The large window is framed by two small bar areas and another was added on the other side of the refrigerator.
