The Challenge
These young North Siders found the bungalow of their dreams years ago. And with a budding hot sauce business and a baby on the way, they needed a kitchen that would accommodate for their family and culinary needs. As with traditional Richmond one-story bungalows, the rooms were divided and flow was restricted. The new kitchen expands into the adjacent dining room by opening the doorway, transforming the once cramped footprint into a spacious cooking and gathering place.
