The Challenge

With a soffit eating up valuable storage space and a strange pass through, this kitchen was in need of some functional updates. A doorway situated to the right of the fridge limited changes to the small foot print, but the homeowner liked the layout as is.

Opening the pass through into a more streamlined shape created a spot for seating. The new cabinets extend to the ceiling, which added needed storage.

With a smaller footprint, it’s important for the space to feel large. The bright white tile and cabinets combined with the beautiful natural light create a space that feels more substantial. than it is.

Keeping the appliances in the same location minimizes costs. New upgraded appliances help create a more sophisticated look for the kitchen.

Smart storage solutions were added to this kitchen. The corner space became a cabinet with easy-reach storage. A built in pantry cabinet was also included in the new design.
