BKBG Design Contest Winners
Custom Kitchens was the recipient of a BKBG award this year. BKBG (Bath & Kitchen Business Group) awards are given to members who have demonstrated outstanding work in their remodeling projects. Custom Kitchens designers received the following:
Kyle Hendrick & Laura Lyles, “Best Use of Space”
This couple, with three young boys and a dog, wanted to create a more open and unified space for cooking and dining. Their previous dining room and kitchen were individual spaces. Although this worked for a while, eventually the owners preferred a space that felt bigger and was better lit. By knocking down the wall that separated the dining area from the kitchen, the space becomes visually large while providing access to more natural light.
