Owner, Kitchen and Bath Designer

Richard has spent his entire 35 year career in the family business, where he started as a carpenter’s helper in order to learn the construction side of the business. After earning a business degree from James Madison University, he became a Certified Kitchen Designer. His father and CKI Founder was his mentor and instilled in Richard the dedicated, client-focused, approach on which our company still runs.

One of Richard’s greatest pleasures as company President is working for multiple members of the same family. He recently completed a project for a third generation of one of our clients. Richard attributes CKI’s long-term employees to the collaborative approach we take. “All of us work together on the same goal of taking care of our clients.” Richard can be found boating on Lake Anna or swinging his clubs at the golf course.
